Get on Board for our North Melbourne Market Special Designer Event on 11 September 2011.

Thread Den is pleased to announce we are once again part of Melbourne Spring Fashion Week for the fourth consecutive year.

The North Melbourne Market Special Designer Event will go beyond an ordinary fashion show and will showcase independent design on the catwalk, as well as presenting over 60 stalls, demonstrations, an exhibition space and a studio sale.
We are also excited to be adding live music to the event and will announce our enviable line up soon.

While stalls have now been allocated for the MSFW Market, we encourage independent designers and craftspeople to be part of the studio sale. This is a great chance to sell your last season stock, samples, seconds and fabric remnants. We are also still accepting expressions of interest for those who would like to run a small workshop or demonstration on the day, so email info@northmelbournemarket.com if you would like more information.

We expect this to be a popular event, with both designers and visitors. This is the biggest event in Thread Den's annual calendar and with our three previous MSFW events selling out; we expect this to be nothing less than spectacular!

There are plenty of reasons to be involved. One hundred thousand copies of the MSFW program are printed and distributed, plus there is a dedicated website with online and television promotion and coverage during the program of events.
In addition, Thread Den has a series of surprises up its lace-trimmed sleeve to make this a standout event for Melbourne's participating independent designers. We do of course encourage all who take part to spread the word too!
